The Brief

Having already supplied this large groundwork company from the South west area with both 13t and 21t Excavators, during ongoing discussions it became clear one of this companies biggest costs was the constant hiring in of road sweepers ( part of their contract with their customers).

The Solution

CPR sourced and purchased the 18t Scarab road sweeper, on a 5 year contract hire, with a full R and M inclusive of DVLA 6 weekly checks. The customer stated whilst having to train an operative as this model requires an HGV, (non HGV models are available) the cost saving and ability to manage their road sweeping commitments, so much so a further identical Scarab was added to their fleet almost immediately.

CPR looked at various manufactures with Scarab offering several solutions and a single engine Hydrostatic drive with lower emissions than other suppliers, again with discussions with our customer and our supplier to an exacting spec CPR proceeded to purchase from Scarab.
