The Brief:
CPR originally became involved at the planning stages of this new venture which became time consuming for our potential client with planning issues.
We worked alongside the potential customer over a long period we discussed various product (kit) to fit with both their application and site constraints.
The client expertise is is the design and build sector and sought advice on both ways of securing machines required make and model.
After taking everything onto account including volumes loading cycles materials CPR recommended 2no machines for each site Ino JCB 560-80 Telehandler and 1no JCB Teletruck.
The customer also required the least amount of hassle in both obtaining and running the mobile plant.
Having invested in 3 brand new facilities and not being experienced in mobile plant the customer saw the benefits of CPR contract hire immediately.
Zero deposit, the first invoice 30 days after delivery, no upfront Vat, No maintenance or service concerns, all this included in the contract a fixed price for 3 years.
The only unknown cost for the period would be damage
The customer has no depreciation or residual concerns and no trade or sale concerns or values in 3 years time.
Contract hire was also off balance sheet and had no effect on future borrowings.
With a further 6 sites in the pipeline this was an important factor.
6 no machines were agreed contracts signed and delivered to the customers exact specification 1no JCB 560-80 Telehandler and 1no Teletruck to each site.
To quote the customer the whole process with CPR was open and easy being able to access the whole market in terms of manufacturers meant we received unbiased advice but were able to use there knowledge and experience.
Contract hiring our mobile plant was the best possible choice for us for the plant we received the service we receive, and from a financial point of view.
They do what they do which lets us do what we do !
